Jeanne Archambault is the mother of four daughters and six
grandchildren. As a Navy wife, she and her family have lived
in various parts of the United States. Over the years she
has written several poems and essays, some of which have
appeared in various publications. Her dream, however,
was to write children's books. She is a graduate of the
Institute of Children's Literature. Throughout much of
her life, Jeanne has been involved in volunteer activities.
She especially enjoys visiting day care centers where she
entertains the children with her menagerie of animal puppets
and related storybooks. In addition to her love of
children's books, her hobbies include gardening, painting, and
golf. Larry the Lawnmower is her first
published book followed by The Leaping Grasshopper.
